Squirrel Hunting|Fox Squirrel|Gray Squirrel
Some of my greatest hunting memories have happened in the woods while squirrel hunting. If you have a son, daughter, niece, nephew, grandson, or granddaughter, you can make some great memories with them by taking them hunting. Squirrel hunting is actually a fairly easy and inexpensive activity that you can do without much preparation or planning. Grab a .22 rifle or shotgun and make your way to the woods to enjoy natures sights, sounds, and smells. Hopefully, along with those experiences, you can even bag a squirrel or two.
Squirrel hunting is a great way to introduce people to gun safety, hunting techniques, harvesting your own food, and nature in general. After you have harvested your squirrel, you can then take pride in cleaning your game and preparing something that you harvested on your own for dinner. Nowadays, alot of people can't say that they are eating food that they had part in producing or harvesting.
New Increased Squirrel Bag Limit
Missouri has increased the daily bag limit and possession limits on squirrel for the 2010 Season.
The new daily limit per licensed hunter for squirrel is now 10 per day. The total possession limit has also been raised from 12 to 20 squirrel.
