    Recreational Firearm Safety Rules

  1. Keep the firearm pointed in a safe direction at all times
  2. Leave your finger outside the trigger guard until you are ready to fire the firearm
  3. Treat all firearms as loaded
  4. Never shoot at hard surfaces or bodies of water
  5. Never shoot over a roadway
  6. Never shoot directly upwards
  7. Always use eye and ear protection
  8. For recreational purposes, keep the firearm unloaded until ready to use
