Observing firearm safety when using a firearm is the most important aspect when going out to hunt or target practice!
ALWAYS! Keep firearms stored out of the reach and access of children!
- Keep the firearm pointed in a safe direction at all times
- Leave your finger outside the trigger guard until you are ready to fire the firearm
- Treat all firearms as loaded
- Never shoot at hard surfaces or bodies of water
- Never shoot over a roadway
- Never shoot directly upwards
- Always use eye and ear protection
- For recreational purposes, keep the firearm unloaded until ready to use
